almost done........

well, there she sits, fresh out of the dunktank. looking good! {no, i didn't use the big wrench on it - that's for my gas cylinders!}
rear view, showing the 4th pair of seat stays. sexy!

post braze alignment check. necessary post braze alignment? zero.

head tube brazing still hot from the torch. i'm trying to get used to intangible micro differences with my new brazing setup, i'd give myself a B+ on these.......
.......but, as you see, it makes no difference with some elbow grease, four or five files, some 80 grit and 45 minutes or so........the important thing is that from the raw shot you can see that they are not too hot, not too cold......

ditto on the toptube/seattube/seatstay/seattube sleeve junction.

brian j's bike getting all sussed out.
and lastly, the view from the couch this evening.

man, i thought i'd have this frame done in November with time to spare and here it's sliding into December.......damn. i guess you'll have that with tooth problems and equipment breakdowns. this stuff sure makes forecasting delivery times a year out really difficult. still, it's almost there. next five builds: jim "auger" m. - call me. you will continue to get bumped until you call me. next: brian j., mark w., jim r., irfan k., mark mc d. steve.

Works of art! Such work can't always be measured with time... Sorry about the tooth, what happened? I do miss looking out that window. Joe K.

That seat tube junction is beautiful.
